About CRE Events

CRE Events is a calendar of commercial real estate conferences, run by Janover Capital LLC, a commercial mortgage capital markets advisory firm in Boca Raton, Florida. It isn’t affiliated with the organizers it lists. We built it because the lists we kept finding were stale: last year’s dates, events that had been renamed, prices without deadlines.

How it’s put together

Each event is read from its organizer’s own site: dates, city, venue, prices and deadlines, who the organizer says it’s for. The date we checked is shown on every event page. Where an organizer’s page is behind a member login or hasn’t posted something yet, the page says so. The verification page has the details.

How it makes money

Two ways, both out in the open. Event organizers and companies that sell to commercial real estate firms will be able to sponsor a placement; none has been sold yet. Any paid placement will be labeled “Sponsored”, and it never changes an event’s facts or its order. And because Janover Capital arranges commercial mortgages, the site invites people raising debt for a deal to send it to the desk.
