Our read
Las Vegas is the main event: bigger, three days, and the one retail brokers plan their spring around (Marcus & Millichap once said it generated 25 to 30% of its annual retail sales business). New York is the shorter year-end deal meeting at the Javits Center. Both reward meetings booked weeks ahead and punish people who show up to attend sessions; attendees on both say the value is the meetings, not the lectures.
