January in Miami Beach is the bigger of the two by every count we found, and it sets the tone for the year. June in New York is roughly half the size and more of a mid-year check-in for the same securitized-lending community. Most people who pick one pick January; June suits New York-based teams and anyone who wants fewer, longer conversations.
